In search of a meaning....

In search of a meaning.... There have been times recently when my life was in the balance. The outcome unsure. These new images explore my inner turmoil from such an existential threat. These awkward constructions teeter on the edge of collapse and disorder are riddled with defects. The materials cruder, dirtier, more broken than I have used before with markings more expressive and violent. Angular, unstable pieces kept in place by balance, dependency and good fortune. Hope in adversity, concern for longevity. Delicately poised constructs in search of a meaning….
