This is a recent ongoing body of work in which I have been reflecting on my youth, gender identity and sexuality. I use myself, friends and brother as subjects because of our fluidity in the queer spectrum. I'd like to question gender stereotypes and perceptions through this work while also addressing intimacy and relationships between my subjects. I am interested in the way photographs can pull from the subconscious and can function as a tableau for my dreams as they coincide with reality. My photographs fuse psychological fantasies I create with a diarist documentation of friends, family and myself to expose the tensions and subtle links between our bodies and identities.
