A handful of portraits

These portraits, though not cohesive as a series, are about capturing and documenting exceptional individuals in moments when I felt a special connection to them. They are neither in the classic studio/posed portraits category nor in the candid portraits category where the subjects are totally unaware of the camera, but our connection is evident, as is my search for the most basic human aspects that connect us all.
