A walk jutting over the ocean where the disparate people of California gather. They are here for all the reason's people fish . Every good reason to fish seems to have a opposite reason to fish - some to escape and be alone and others to spend time with family; some for food and others the quick thrill of the catch and release; some it's a connection to tradition, others it's a a pursuit of the perfect form, It's patience and quickness, it's water and wind, it's sunshine and shade, bikini's and overalls, children and old people... As most of my work, it's the opposites and the gathering that makes the images speak to me.
