Cemetery Stories: a haiku-triptych series

Blending two of my favorite forms of expression--photography and poetry--this body of work investigates the stories of loss and love in cemeteries. Each image is a triptych, using three photographs for which each has one line of an original haiku that explores the stories in a cemetery. I am intrigued by how people's lives are described in so few words, and how loved ones honor the lives of babies who died at birth or very young.
