Whitby Goths
Project info

A selection of images from my ongoing project capturing the excitement of the Whitby Goth Weekend, which is held twice per year celebrating Goth and alternative culture. The location of Whitby is significant inasmuch as in Bram Stoker's novel "Dracula" the Count runs aground near this port on the Russian ship "Demeter" and so enters England.
The weekend never fails to generate an exciting and colourful spectacle of Goths and alternatives of all ages - from the very young to the elderly - bringing their lifestyle to the port, which is located on the North Sea.
