“Underwater portraits lure the audience in, and ignite the imagination through the elegance and movement of the human body under weightlessness” I grew up around the water and all my life I've been drawn to and intrigued by the water. Underwater photography is where we can lure the audience beneath the surface where the magic unfolds through the elegance and movement of the human body in a suspended dance. My vision is to captivate the viewer and ignite the imagination through challenging the boundaries of people photography under weightlessness to tell stories, which explore the depths of movement and composition. With my pieces, I like to create a space that doesn’t look quite real; the perspective that is not of this world or in a dreamlike state. The air of mystery and connection to a different time and place provokes thoughts and conversations to keep the viewer captivated and intrigued. Liesel
