Two O´clock Shadow

I started to take portraits as an art student and it has always been a side-project.I had to do selfportraits because I don´t have money to hire a model.I´m interest about women in social media and their make-up tutorials how their appeareance change sometimes radically with the make-up. I wanted to make a serie about characters,famous persons such as Lucille Ball and her husband from tv-sitcom I Love Lucy.There is controversy in the roles,how the stay-home Mrs.,Lucy is coping with domestic choirs turning into full blown catastrophe. During the pandemia changed my photo-sessions into personal coping method.I hope my selfportraits within these roles appear entertaining and hopeful ,full of joy as I felt on making them. Elisa Daart
