Mourning of Muharram

Mourning of Muharram is held in majority of cities and villages in Iran by Shia Muslims annually. Although all sort of ceremonies are performed for Imam Hossein and his followers martyrdom remembrance, they have different styles and rules referring to various cultures. They refrain from music, considers music impolite during death rituals. They sacrifice Animals like ship, cow and camel, cook the food with meat and spread into people in mosque and participation in ceremony Holding an Alam; Memorial signs are that much weight. Anyone vow that every year it can lift and rotate Alam. People vow fabric and hang the sign money, They do it with them to their needs.
