Changes in equal rights
In 2014, around 40% of marriages in Switzerland ended up with divorce. In 45% of those cases, this happened to parents with under age children. In 70% of those cases, children stay under the care of their mother and this independantly of the the legal custody of the children.
The number of fathers, whose contact with their children is getting more difficult, sabotaged or even refused is raising considerably. Fact is that legal aspects are still encouraging a traditional roles model, so that fathers fighting for their rights for the custody of their children in everyday life, even after the divorce, are often prone to fail.
Next to the emotional consequences of being separated from their children, fathers also have to face a financial burden because in many cases they must pay the legal and maintenance costs.
He, who once was a proud father, has become a holder of a right of access to his own children.
This has definitely nothing to do with equals rights
