For this project, I wanted to create a series of images that represent the feeling of not fitting and show discomfort and insecurities.
That's the feeling I often had since being a child. How am I supposed to fit in? Can we be vulnerable? I've often sought spaces where I would be able to be alone and be myself without being conflicted and pressured by who I was supposed to be.
Now having grown up, I still find myself where I feel so insecure, situations that make me uncomfortable.
There is this vulnerable man in me.
There is still this young child in me.
Whit this series, I hope to be able to make the viewer feel uneasy, to let the viewer feel vulnerable for a second and know that it is fine.
There is a charm in vulnerability, strength, and perfection aren't always qualities to strive for.
