After living in Geneva, Switzerland for 11 years, I moved back to Istanbul, Turkey on the day Covid was declared as a pandemic and most countries went to shut down. My two daughters live in NYC and I was not able to see them for a very long time. I visited them for 3 weeks in May 2021 and also in May 2022 for 1 month. I love to observe individuals in big cities and I also can feel a connection with them. I find individuals in solitude, and empty places meaningful.
