The Wheel, 2016-2020

A trip to the Himalayas and South East Asia to work on a book in 2016. Finally I was free (for several months) to pursue my spititual quest and my artisitic interests. It became a meditation on transience and mortality. Inner and outer journeys in four chapters: Circling Around Places of Power, Transition Rites, Politics and Religion, Drama and Martial Arts. The photos are from a selfpublished photobook (October 2020). ISBN 978-3000665387. It has been awarded "Bronze" at the "Prix de la Photographie, Paris (PX3) 2021" and was shortlisted at the "Urban Book Award" 2020 in Trieste. Thsi project had shows in Berlin and Rotterdam.
