Ugo Sansonetti was born in Rome, 10th of January 1919, son of the admiral Luigi Sansonetti. He lives in Rome, has ten children, 25 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, a degree in law and has been a pioneer in Costa Rica. In the '70s directed and contributed to raise again the European industry of frozen foods that later became Findus. Ugo always been a sport enthusiast from the '90s, he professionally dedicated his life to athletics, winning over 92 medals from which 60% are gold. With 13 gold medals, he is the Italian athlete who have won more titles at the World Masters Indoor Athletics Championships. Furthermore, in March 2011, conquered the gold medal in the Italian championship of trampoline dive. In 2005, at the age of 86, Sansonetti joined the project SpaceLand, a space mission from E.S.A., taking off from Bordeaux, it was the first parabolic flight to host an octogenarian on board. Sansonetti has also been a celebrity spokesperson for Coca-Cola.
