I am a photographer from Ireland - who has a huge passion for photography. My main focus is nature and wildlife photography . This has developed over the years as I really started out by taking photographs of just about anything and slowly figured out where my true passion was and what excited me most. Living beside the sea I am lucky in that I have both the coast and the land to explore. These series of Black and white photographs were taken on a Trip to Tanzania a while back- it was my first trip there and it did not disappoint. Watching those David Attenborough documentaries of the African plains just amazed me when I was younger and I thought I would never get to visit it myself to see the wonders of nature. That trip did not disappoint . To hear about poaching is so disappointing and heart breaking but I do believe in the power of images to make a difference and for us to do better and be carers of our plant.
