Night Excursion in Taipei

Night markets have a long history in Asia, which is no more evident than in Taipei's night market culture. Taipei has a staggering number of night markets, ranging from small local affairs to huge and sprawling ones. They are busy, bustling places full of incredible smells, sights, and sounds. There is another type of night market less visible to the general public. The second half of this series focused on the whole fresh produce market. I want to capture the nocturnal and early morning rites and rituals of the people who have chosen to provide and ready the need for early morning commerce. They are unseen by most and shining the light into the night brings.
