The Dream of Freedom

Mandatory Hijab imposed by anyone or any institution like family, society, or the ruling government is, in my eyes, a type of cryonics. It is indeed like reconstructing a similar project; that is, deep-freezing a sick incurable organ in the vain, costly hope that one day we may be able to revive it. The space surrounding the subject I am about to photograph is, for me, the fluidity specific to freezing, a covering or hijab for the freezing container. A dead body whose work is to imitate life in the hope that it may one day experience life in reality. Yet, the difference is that this body is not incurable. It should only get out of the container so that the fluid space around it turns easily into the mold of its organs.
