At some point in all of our lives we will feel the heaviness of life begin to weigh us down. Some of us will carry that weight around forever as though it were a part of our being, while others will make the difficult decision to release it. The title "Jettison" is defined as, "To get rid of as superfluous or encumbering: omit or forgo as part of a plan or as the result of some other decision." This series serves as a visual representation of that feeling of letting go. I invite the viewer to imagine or project their own stories unto the characters in these images as a means to find connection and hopefully, catharsis.
