Street beach. If we replace the sand of the beaches at the asphalt of the cities, we can find the same neuroses, behaviors, people's tics. Then, the traffic and the confusion become the umbrellas and the clothes thrown on the sand; people looking at the sea as if it were a road to cross. With this series of images I have taken up a world that I know well, the people who live the Mediterranean sea as if it were their own city. The only difference: partial nudity. Some of the shots were taken in a city of Salento, Otranto, in southern Italy, where the relationship between the road and the sea is very narrow and the main square of the city overlooks the sea. Once again in my work I intervened in post-production; in some cases with minor, almost imperceptible interventions. I wanted to isolate the main figures from the background by increasing the contrast; in this way the overall light of the image is characterized by the high tones of the characters' lights and some details. Se all'asfalto delle città sostituiamo la sabbia delle spiagge, possiamo ritrovare le stesse nevrosi, i comportamenti, i tic della gente. Allora, il traffico e la confusione, diventano gli ombrelloni e i vestiti buttati sulla sabbia; le persone che guardano il mare come se fosse una strada da attraversare. Con questa serie di immagini ho ripreso un mondo che conosco bene, la gente che vive il mare Mediterraneo come se fosse la propria città. Unica differenza: la parziale nudità. Alcune delle riprese sono state realizzate in una città del Salento, Otranto, nel sud Italia, dove il rapporto fra la strada e il mare è molto stretto e la piazza principale della città si affaccia sul mare. Ancora una volta nel mio lavoro sono intervenuto in post-produzione; in alcuni casi con interventi lievi, quasi impercettibili. Ho voluto isolare dallo sfondo le figure principali aumentando il contrasto; in questa maniera la luce complessiva dell'immagine è caratterizzata dai toni alti delle luci dei personaggi e di alcuni particolari.
