Evanescence: For things that are fleeting or quickly disappearing

The West is not just a place, but an idea. It means wild, open, free, romantic. To this artist it means beauty too. In the midst of unprecedented development, I've taken to the 'wild' spaces with my camera and a visceral sense of optimism, to perhaps capture some essence of it, to serve as a point of reference, lest we forget what we have. With this bird series “Evanescence: for things that are fleeting or quickly disappearing”, it is my attempt to hold beauty firmly in our hearts, thereby preserving the creatures to behold and ideas to embrace.
