This work began as a reaction to over 25 years as a commercial art director for magazine titles at Conde Nast, Hearst, and Time Inc. The experience of conceiving, constructing, and manipulating precise images of beauty lead me to this personal study, where the aesthetic is lucid and the photographic result spontaneous and uncontrolled. As I the work continues to evolve, themes related to exposure, trust, and time are becoming more prevalent.
