This serie is inspired by a book called the hippo in the living room, written by Tommy Hellsten, a finnish therapist, priest and writer. This serie is about dependencies and codependencies in a disfunctional home. The hippo must not be seen or talked about, which makes the childs upbringing difficult. There is no space left for the child to grow up in, the child is forced to adapt to a nonadaptable situation.
