As Lucy Soutter mentioned in her book, why Art photography, The viewpoint of the image places us right on the street and makes us aware of the photographer’s physical presence. This is one of the reasons for me to choose street shoot.
My work explores the subtle yet significant barriers that separate individuals from diverse social backgrounds, a concept often described as "psychological distance." Whether through human portraits or cityscapes, my art conveys a deep underlying emotion. While some of my images may not immediately grab attention with their vividness or visual impact, they are crafted to invite viewers to delve deeper and discover that this perceived isolation serves as a shield of self-protective security.
