In a world of technology and artificial intelligence there are increasing numbers of ways to be able to communicate with our fellow human beings. And yet as we have more options to connect, the disconnect between human beings seems greater. As an autistic person, I am familiar with the feeling of being a stranger in the world, an alien looking in. I observe people moving like ghosts through a world where they are unable to connect.
