Why do everyday objects become junk?
Over the past few months I have been trying to answer this question. I have realised that there are many causes behind such a choice, perhaps dictated by the eternal human dissatisfaction: the constant search for perfection, for a material balance that will solve our every problem, the anxious need to replace and renew...
Things that are no longer worth repairing. These objects are laid by the side
of the road, abandoned and piled up in remote places. They are exposed to sunlight and to the elements, losing their vitality day after day, until they are rubbish.
As if they were archaeological finds, I decided to bring them back to light. I relocated the objects in the places where they were found, allowing them to take possession of that space and not just be mere victims of the tide.
