Empty Spaces that Fill My Heart

Part of an on going project titled Empty Spaces that Fill My Heart which documents Hong Kong-Canadian spaces in the city of Richmond and Vancouver British Columbia Canada. With the events that happened in 2019 in Hong Kong and the subsequent reaction of the government, I felt a longing for a city that I could no longer return to. This spurred an urgency to document these cultural spaces that remind me Hong Kong.
