Rural-street in B&W
This selection is from an ongoing series that could be described as 'rural-street' shots, maybe. Nothing is really planned or preconceived other than the fact I have a camera with me in case I react to something. I am fond of 'the extraordinary in the ordinary' so these are records of fleeting observations; visual reminders that the world is rarely what it first appears to be - in all sorts of ways. I don't choose to dwell on any compositional or possible symbolical or metaphorical content too much and just let the images be whatever they are to a viewer. These are small nudges about other worlds within worlds from unsung objects if you like. But underneath the apparent frivolity is a profound message – at least I hope there is.
