Victorian Images

I am a fine arts photographer based in Melbourne in the state of Victoria, Australia, with a strong interest in street photography. I use monochrome in my work to create and intensify mood and interest, particularly in images of dark laneways and alleys, menacing in their shadows. Landscape photography is another area that I enjoy, and I am drawn to the coastal scenes of my town Lorne where the seascape may have a soft pastel palette or the use of monochrome processing can enhance the natural beauty and presence of the rocky shore. The 5 images that I have submitted explore a range of the above mentioned urban and seascape locations.
