Sense of the Sacred
These images capture the soul of the overlooked. For me, it seems that most often the most poignant lessons and wisdoms there in are conveyed through the subtleties, through the overlooked. These pieces capture moments of life as frozen in death. From a Daoist perspective this aesthetic embodies the balance that makes way for all life, for all the "ten thousand things". For this reason these photographs embody reverence, which by definition, the sense of the sacred.
