We live here, it's the place we call home.
Project info

About 1% of the land mass in Australia has around 85% of Australians living on it.
We're jammed together, clinging along the coastal fringe of the continent, most of us never leaving our urban environment, seemingly happy to remain surrounded by our fellow city dwellers.
This is an ongoing project looking at the increasing pressure we're putting on our ever growing cities, as they grow out from the center the suburbs mushroom out further and further creating urban sprawl and associated economic and social problems.
Alienation and loneliness for residents , environmental chaos and pressure on resources and infrastructure often occur.
We get stuck in traffic, government have endless promises for new roads and airports and big business ensures public transport often gets forgotten.
The future of our "liveable cities" remains unclear.
