Glas & light (Glas und Licht)

Working with textured glass allows me to see an object not only from a different perspective, but also from a different dimension. It is a natural filter that reveals only what is most important in the image; what the most important thing is, is in the eye of the beholder. The world through a structural glass becomes an image. Becomes a painting. Although stilll there, the point of view makes it an illusion. Die Arbeit mit strukturiertem Glas ermöglicht mir ein Objekt nicht nur aus einer anderen Perspektive, sondern auch einer anderen Dimension zu sehen. Es ist ein natürlicher Filter, der nur das wichtigste im Bild offenbart; was das Wichtigste ist, liegt jedoch im Auge des Betrachters. Die Welt durch ein Strukturglas wird zu einem Abbild. Zu einem Gemälde. Obwohl noch in vollem Umfang da, dennoch gleichzeitig nur eine Illusion.
