Ceausescu's palace from Bucharest represents a tourist attraction, although in the past the construction of it represented a secret that was paid with life by some of the workers that participated in its building.
The luxury that the dictator lived in flagrantly contrasted with the poverty of the Romanian people at that time. From the artistic point of view, cyanotypes subvert the luxurious effect of the palace and propose a new perspective of visualization, meaning a journey into the memory of those times, from which a lot of traumas remained unsolved (the blue of cyanotype suggests melancholy) which are commercialized and not integrated.
