To visit Venice is to have the imagination made real---an improbable city, rising from the water like a reverse Atlantis. Image upon image impresses itself upon the mind and at the end of the day they come tumbling out in random order creating startling juxtapositions of colour, patterns, texture and movement. These photographs taken using multiple exposures overlaid one over the other are my way of capturing these fleeting impressions in a single image.
