I don't understand architecture. I see architecture as colors, shapes, textures and patterns. Sometimes, I see them as abstractions. At times, I will isolate part of the structure (the Leo Baeck Center), remove color to emphasize shapes (Stairwell, NYC) or saturate colors to bring out patterns (8th Avenue and 42 Street, NYC). Sometimes, the photo almost takes itself. (Fisherman's House, Burano, Italy). This portfolio is how I see architecture.
