These are a composition of photographs made to resemble works of abstract art in order to both explore and challenge the boundaries of art and photography. Using specific in-camera techniques only to achieve the necessary 'brush strokes', I then set about compiling the artworks to achieve the desired effects. The aim is to challenge the notion of photography as a tool for accurately capturing what it sees, and instead use it as a literal paintbrush, blending the process of abstract painting with the technology of photography. These works depict urban landscapes and turns them into scenes of abstract art, allowing viewers to lose themselves in a world that’s in between worlds.
