Is there perhaps an emergency exit that can rescue us from the noises and lights of the world, from that metropolitan crossroads during rush hour that is our existence? Through "Doors of Light," I have attempted to answer this question. The project originated on a winter morning by the lakeside when the mists, resting on the waters, obscured the contours of the landscape, simplifying it, stripping it of its details, and adorning it with only colors, lines, and shapes. A prelude to a more intimate and contemplative dimension. The images, in which one inhales a breath of the infinite, aim to encourage the observer to make room for silence and embark on a journey beyond the ordinary experience in which, for better or worse, we find ourselves living, crossing the threshold of another reality that, in its silences and contemplative pauses, perhaps belongs to us more. The diptych, used as a form of expression within the project, intends to convey to the observer, through the harmony of forms achieved by specularly juxtaposing each image, that positive feeling of engagement necessary to undertake the journey beyond the doors of light toward a more intimate and spiritual dimension.
