To The Bone is an ongoing photography project that began during the pandemic and follows the Kress family in rural upstate New York on their small farm that sustains them. Their hold on the land is precarious and the future uncertain, but my intention is to explore the strength, dignity and love that keeps them deeply connected as a family to each other and to their life on the farm.
