The images come from the shadowed underworld of my home city, Oxford – from the times when I, too, wandered though the world of late-night drinking, hoping to find a girl to notice me. I was troubled. This was the world I found myself in. This is the world where I made Empty Days.
My pictures include the epic themes that have inspired artists for centuries: religion, sex, death, and create a disconnected, anxious world of loneliness.
