Many years ago, Turkmen inhabiting in Jarglan immigrated into Iran from Turkmenistan because of political or religious issues. Turkmen horse is a part of the identity and culture Turkmen ethnic. Since early days of emigration to Iran, they know horse as a member of their family and identity so that their interest to horse cannot be expressed in any word. Despite exorbitant cost of keeping horse and low income, they all together try to keep the horses. Despite all lovely efforts of these people, rush of urban horse dealers to buy non-genuine horse race and their arrival in the area, has endangered great horse breeds in this region.
