Anatomy of Exposure aims at documenting and revealing people's emotions when they are exposed to situations or things that are outside of their comfort zone. From the initial refuse, or the anxiety, to face the situation to the final triumph against, or defeat by, their discomfort. The camera is a witness to a moment in their lives.
The ten pictures submitted here document my best friend gaining confidence with the camera. She likes having her picture taken, as long as it is a 'conventional photo'. The moment she is asked or caught making a genuine or a funny face, she feels uncomfortable. I pushed and poked at that discomfort and showed the phases, the anatomy, of her reactions to her own expressions and to my camera.
