The Art of Toughness

In this series of images, i wanted to capture the hardness of stone and the mental and physical toughness of the sculptors. They face each other and their work. Despite the hard work situation, the use of heavy and dangerous tools, dust, dirt and etc; it's the toughness of the artists' soul and the power which interest me. The love of their work which overcomes all and helps to shape the stone in their own subtle imagination.
