In retrospect, looking at my own images as if they were the works communicated with over the years as artswriter the common thread I detect in my own work is: A delight in experimentation with different techniques without any preconceived theme or motive. This intuitive approach leads to a surprise and treat to me as I discover afterwards the textures, light, flowing and moving shapes, colours and shadows that reveal to me, now the onlooker, the magic of life mysteriously present in patterns over which we as humans have no control. We can only wallow in the sensations, feelings and maybe even themes and ideas they reveal to us, coloured by our own imaginations.
