Endangered People

The Batwa, Ik, and Tepeth people in Uganda are endangered ancient tribes, who were displaced from their homelands due to modern developments. Living in between their ancestors' hunter-gatherer past and modern developments, such as cellular phones and tourism, the youth of these communities often face poverty and lack education. The future of these children and youth is not bright, but better education and health care could offer them new opportunities in life.
