Over the course of a year I invited myself into the home of couples, suggesting I would bring their favourite breakfast in exchange for documenting their morning routine. This is a study on love and all the infinity of options that might look like and be.
I started this project right as I broke up with my partner and I was falling out of love with photography given the amount of commercial jobs I was doing.
This work became not only a study on love but also a study on culture - from the type of breakfast, the hour they would wake up, to the appliances in the room, the comfortability with nudity, amongst others - remaining love, rawness and respect the common factors.
From the many rooms, cities, touching, kissing and eating I documented I opted to submit one picture per couple where I can feel the sparkle jumping out of the frame, either from a kiss, touch or even eye contact, hoping that those viewers who have fallen out of love just like I did reconsider their (dis)beliefs.
Thank you to all the couples who have been kind enough to invite me into their space and shared with me the way they love, which is much more diverse than what one might think.
