While it is undeniable that toxic masculinity exerts a detrimental influence on women, men are also compelled to conform to socially imposed roles such as performers, bread-winners and box tickers.
In this series of photographs, both subjects were engaged with Proust questionnaires to establish a first intimate connection. Through-out both sessions, candid discussions ensued to capture only what was sincere, raw and true. In the end, only the essential remains.
