The photos in this triptych were captured in a shallow river with slow flow. It is a mixture of the reflection of the trees on the water and the pebbles and leaves that lie beneath the water in the riverbed.
I believe that rivers have a life of their own. Each river has its own character. I was trying to capture the spirit(s) of a particular small river that flows near a little village in the mountain area of Fokida, in Greece.
The images a part of an ongoing project about the element of water and its various facets and attributes. All images are a one shot capture in camera (no double exposure). I tried to create a painterly feeling in one shot.
