As a photographer, my eyes and lens are a window into a world where the sublime can be found in the uniqueness of the human body. Personal Project was born from a deep desire to help people witness themselves, to help them see what I see - they are beautiful, they are worthy, they are powerful.
The aim of Personal Project is to collectively feel a person’s power and celebrate them as a whole. I want us to reject the inherent conditioning, capitalistic structures and patriarchal hierarchies that constantly tell us we are not enough. Through tapping into the vulnerability through this process, the rawness and power that resides under the surface is unearthed, allowing us to feel and harness this innate power that’s been buried within. Personal Project is my way of creating a safe space where there is boundless permission to be. This project generates self empowerment through this experience and dares us to feel it within. It is a true willingness to see and be seen.
Through this we are breaking the conditioning, the cycles and layers of self deprecating monologues and treatments to realize that we are already enough.
