Objectified

Objectified is an ongoing series that began from my public installation project that was presented during the Marrakech Biennale 4th edition in 2012. I have always had a difficult time digesting the question"What do you do?" As an artist, I feel relieved that my answer raises intrigue and invites an opportunity to describe my vision and word rather than be limited to a single word and profession. In this series, I invite others to choose an object that defines a big part of themselves and to cover a specific part of their face with it. As it acknowledges their relationship with that object, it also opens the dialogue and quite literally, the rest of the face, for the multiple possibilities that can be imagined by the viewer and the individual in the photo.
