This photo is a story about my impressions of a trip to visit my sister, who lives with her family in Uzbekistan. These impressions are very contradictory. On the one hand, it is a colorful country with a peculiar architecture, bright colors of the eastern market and the sultry sun. On the other hand, it is a country in which most of the local population are unemployed and make great efforts to earn a living. The color photos in this series illustrate the impressions of a tourist who came to the southern country. Black and white photo portraits of my sister and her family members (husband and two sons). Only my sister has an official job in this family. She works as a teacher at a school. Her husband is unemployed and does housework in the house. The eldest son, having graduated from a construction university in Russia, cannot find a decent job in Uzbekistan. The youngest son is graduating from school in 2023 and is looking forward to his future with fear.
