The Indecent Exposure idea was born some twenty years ago in London, triggered by the aloofness of the average Londoner toward, to me, exciting, interesting, beautiful people and objects alike. Enabled by a bursary from Fuji Velvia, I travelled to four European destinations to shoot four different models, dressed for one image and undressed for each second image, showing all 8 pictures side-by-side to illustrate the differing reactions from the public.
For the new series, which I started planning in 2019, I opted for black and white instead of colour and had the models face away from the camera toward the "audience", opening their coats, me recording people's reactions to the models' indecent exposures.
